Fugro Environmental have a team of highly trained marine mammal and protected species observers to offer a variety of services including:
- Marine mammal observers (JNCC accredited)
- Protected species observer (BOEMRE accredited)
- Passive acoustic monitoring operator
Fugro Environmental can provide marine mammal observers
to keep a dedicated watch during the hours of daylight for any marine mammals in the vicinity of the survey area.
Fugro Environmental are also pleased to offer state-of-the-art passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) systems to supplement the visual watches. The system also allows for the monitoring of cetaceans during the hours of darkness and allows for 24-hr mitigation during seismic surveys.
Fugro Environmental scientists are highly versatile and are fully capable of conducting all environmental survey operations as well as marine mammal observations (or PAM system monitoring).
