Systems Overview

Health and Safety both onshore and offshore are of paramount importance to Fugro.
Our comprehensive Integrated Quality and Safety Management System is certified BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
All elements of FUGRO SURVEY LIMITED's operations are controlled within the company's Integrated
Management System (IMS). The IMS system, developed in-house, meets the requirements of and is accredited
to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and covers all aspects of the business from marketing of the Company
through to quality control of deliverables. The Company's Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures,
Work Instructions, forms and associated documents are also incorporated in the Working Safely process
within the IMS, together with Operations, HR, Administration and Accounts functions

Management responsibility
|
FUGRO SURVEY LIMITED recognises that QHSE is a line management responsibility and the Company's
management team is involved in procedure writing, review and implementation. The same team is
involved in the Management Review process. Staff at each and every workplace are also involved in
work instruction writing, review and implementation
The Company's Managing Director is the senior executive responsible for QHSE Management.
A dedicated QHSE Manager has been appointed

Scope
|
The Company has a quality management system which meets the requirements of the International
Standard BS EN ISO 9001:2000. The system has been assessed by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance
(LRQA) and Certification was awarded in June 2004. The scope of the certification is:
"Provision of land, near shore and offshore positioning, inspection, geophysical and construction
survey services using integrated survey systems, remotely operated and autonomous vehicles and
multi-role survey vessels. The acquisition, processing, interpretation and reporting of seabed and
sub-seabed data sets, including the provision of innovative geospatial data management solutions
and the analysis of geotechnical and environmental samples."
