Fugro Survey Ltd conducts numerous acoustic metrology surveys each year for various clients. Three dimensional spool-piece measurements are made subsea with acoustics and digiquartz sensors to very tight tolerances.

Spool-pieces are often manufactured to their final size within hours of conducting the survey, and therefore the specification for this type of work is exact and demanding.
