Environmental assessments are assuming increasing importance in all areas of offshore operations. Our dedicated Environmental Division enables us to offer a more comprehensive and fully integrated site investigation package.

Our Environmental Division is staffed by highly qualified marine scientists and provides accurate and detailed environmental surveys to the highest standard. Particular areas of expertise include:

• Annex I habitat surveys including pockmark investigations, Sabellaria spinulosa community surveys, deep sea coral (i.e. Lophelia pertusa) surveys and sandbank investigations.
• Baseline environmental surveys providing important input into environmental statements and licence applications
• Biological effects monitoring to investigate any changes in benthic communities and the environment resulting from the operation or decommissioning of an offshore installation
• Drill cuttings pile surveys
• Fish spawning ground surveys and biotope mapping assessments (including coral reefs)
