Fugro Survey Ltd.'s positioning department has an extensive rig positioning track record based on over 30 years of experience. Approximately 50 rig moves are carried out each year throughout the North Sea and Mediterranean regions. Our techniques and procedures combine proven subsea and surface positioning systems to perform a wide range of tasks including:

Key experience has been gained in the West of Shetland environment, where 45 rig moves have been completed at Foinaven and Schiehallion fields over the last 3 years. Operational bases in Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth provide our clients with a quick response time to meet the exacting demands of this important business stream.
